Amos leads, guides, and directs the overall success of Optibus. During his career Amos architected online ad targeting systems, search engines, and the Cortana personal assistant, for Microsoft, Siemens, and Collarity. Amos’ experience includes: optimization and graph algorithms, machine learning, distributed systems and big data. Amos holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University. He graduated with Dean Excellence, decorated by the Wolf, Intel, and Elkin prizes.
Gady leads Optibus’ strategic initiatives. He has extensive experience of over 20 years in leading high-tech companies, both software and hardware, from early stage to business maturity success, mergers and acquisitions. He was the founder and CEO of RegiSoft and held CEO positions in a few other technology companies. Gady holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Economics from Bar-Ilan University.
Eitan leads Optibus research and development. He has extensive experience in development of complex software systems and leading R&D teams. Eitan has the passion to understand all aspects of the system, from the bits and bytes level up to the high level architecture, specializing in applying math to solve complex algorithmic problems. Eitan holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science with dean excellence from Ben-Gurion University and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University
Yossi leads the breakthrough of Optibus’ innovative solutions into the global markets. Yossi is a senior marketing and sales executive with 25+ years of strategy and field experience, with proven success across five continents. Yossi served in leadership roles for large companies, like: BMC Software, HP, and Amdocs, as well as for emerging startups, such as Applisonix. Yossi holds an engineering degree in Computer Science, a BA in business from Champlain College, and an Executive MBA from San Diego State University
Prof. Ceder is a worldwide expert and leader in the field of public transportation. He received B.Sc. (1971) from the Technion, Faculty of Industrial and Management engineering, M.Sc. (1972) and Ph.D. (1975) on the subject of Transportation with emphasis on Operations Research and Human Factors, at the University of California at Berkeley, USA. In 2007 he became Professor – Chair in Transportation, within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering University of Auckland. Prof. Ceder is the Founder and was the Director, until 2014, of the Transportation Research Centre (TRC). Prof. Ceder was the Head of the Transportation Engineering and Geo-Information Department at the Technion, the Chief Scientist at the Israel Ministry of Transport from 1994 to 1997, and the Israel delegate to the Transport Program of the European Community. He was a visiting Professor twice at MIT, the University of California at Berkeley, and at Universities of Hong Kong and Tokyo, and he is a member of various international symposia and workshops (e.g., ISTTT, CASPT). Prof. Ceder is the author of two books: ‘Public Transit Planning and Operation: Theory, Modelling and Practice’, and the 2nd edition ‘Public Transit Planning and Operation: Modelling, Practice and Behavior’.
Dr. Robert Ishaq is a Technion graduate with a PhD in transportation engineering. He is a research associate at the Transportation Research Institute and a lecturer at the Technion Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research interests are in the field of demand modeling and decision making models. In addition to his work as a researcher, Dr. Ishaq is a consultant for public infrastructure companies on issues such as strategic transportation plans and demand modelling for public transport planning. Some of his projects include: The Metronit, Haifa’s BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) system plan and multiple transportation master plans and public transportation design projects.
